Oppo Rancisis appears in various Star Wars media, including the "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace" novelization and the "Star Wars: Republic" comic series. He is a Thisspiasian Jedi Master known for his unique appearance and wise counsel.
Rancisis is easily recognized by his serpentine, reptilian appearance, characterized by his long, tentacle-like appendages on his face. Despite his unusual appearance, he is a highly skilled and respected Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order for many years.
As a Jedi Master, Oppo Rancisis held a seat on the Jedi High Council, which made him one of the highest-ranking Jedi within the Order. He was known for his wisdom, calm demeanor, and strong connection to the Force.
Throughout his time as a Jedi, Rancisis played various roles, including mentor to Jedi Knights and involvement in critical Jedi Council decisions. He also participated in important battles during the Clone Wars, using his formidable lightsaber skills and mastery of the Force to aid the Republic.

Choose an empty space Oppo could attack if ranged. All characters adjacent to that space receive 2 damage. For each effected character the controlling player can discard a card to prevent that damage.

The existing decks for those characters definately were an inspiration for this deck. You will find many recycled cards here. The fact is, you definately could make a case ecery Jedi master shoul have his own deck but there are just so many, especially from the Clone Wars era that it's tough for them to find a way on the table. So putting two into one deck definately increases their chances of getting played once in a while.
