Visas Marr was a Miraluka, a species known for being Force-sensitive, but lacking traditional eyes. Instead, they perceived the Force and the world around them through the Force in a unique way. Visas Marr's homeworld was Katarr, which was devastated by Darth Nihilus, a Sith Lord who possessed the ability to consume the Force, during the Mandalorian Wars.
Following the destruction of her homeworld, Visas Marr became a Sith apprentice to Darth Nihilus. She was trained in the ways of the dark side of the Force and became one of his loyal servants. Her loyalty to Darth Nihilus was born out of a combination of fear and a sense of belonging, as she believed she owed her survival to him.
Visas Marr's path crossed with the Jedi Exile, the main character of "Knights of the Old Republic II," and she was ultimately redeemed from the dark side. The Exile's influence and compassion led Visas Marr to question her allegiance to the Sith and the destructive path she was on. She eventually joined the Exile in their quest to confront the Sith Triumvirate and find a way to stop the dark threat of Darth Nihilus.
