Celeste Morne is known for her connection to the ancient Sith artifact known as the Muur Talisman. Morne was a Jedi Knight during the time of the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War.
Her life took a dramatic turn when she was tasked with safeguarding the Muur Talisman, an artifact imbued with Sith alchemy that could transform individuals into powerful Rakghouls under the influence of its dark power. Over the centuries, Celeste Morne became the artifact's guardian and a living prison for its malevolent spirit, Karness Muur.
Morne is awakened from stasis thousands of years after her initial involvement with the Talisman. Throughout the Star Wars Legacy comic book series, she grapples with the moral dilemma of containing the Muur Talisman's dark influence while working alongside Cade Skywalker and other characters to prevent its misuse.
Celeste Morne's character explores themes of sacrifice, the burden of ancient relics, and the enduring struggle against the dark side of the Force.
